About Us

The Canadian Institute for Strategic Studies is a non-profit organization dedicated to conducting strategic research on topics of diversity and democratization in the Middle East from a Canadian perspective. With a focus on development and human rights concerns, as well as consolidating the values of freedom and scientific knowledge. furthermore, the Institute will be a reference for Middle East affairs for Canadian government and institutions.

Mission

Providing outstanding applied research, academics, and training support in the strategic and development sectors, with the aim of improving Canada’s civilized relations with the Middle East.

A trusted source for strategic research and development, serving as a bridge for communication and engagement between Canada and the Middle East.

Founders

The Institute was founded by a group of academic research experts with a wide range of practical scientific experience.

Objectives

  1. Enrich human thought and developing the knowledge base in the field of community peace.
  2. Dissemination of democratic culture and advanced political processes.
  3. Promote the Institute as a Middle East reference for Canadian government and institutions.
  4. Expanding youth’s scientific, research, and knowledge levels in strategic and development studies.
  5. Encouraging the spirit of integration and collaboration among Middle Eastern immigrants in Canadian society and highlighting successful models.

Motives

  1. The demographic component of coexistence is deteriorating, as is the leadership’s inability to guide Middle Eastern societies toward a coexisting future.
  2. Contribute to the reconstruction of societies following political crises by engaging in initiatives related to diversity, integration, and democratic reform.
  3. Enhancing the social and political role of immigrants in Canadian society.
  4. The necessity of developing the strategic sense of the leaders.
  5. The lack of a sufficient number of specialists, especially young people, in diversity and integration studies.
  6. To prepare enlightened leaders within Canada and the Middle East, who understand the virtues of diversity and integration.
